This is one of those little gems tucked away on the side of the road. A place I would never have found without all you faithful Yelpers! I was in Florida on a road trip to see family. Mostly relatives who were older. Including my uncle who's been battling cancer for the past 2 years. He said that his tastebuds haven't recovered from the chemo---so he doesn't have much of an appetite. My mom used to work as a nutritionist and remembered that cancer patients could usually still taste milk shakes, and that they would drink them. So we decided to make a stop on the way to see my uncle to pick up some milk shakes for everyone! We wanted to get more than a random fast food shake, so I pulled out my phone and voila! Twisty Cone! Right off the freeway exit! The gals working back there were very kind, and they have a huge selection of shake and float flavors! I didn't try to soft serve, but we did get several fresh banana and fresh strawberry shakes and they were awesome! Just like old fashioned, home made ones! And at less than $5 per shake - very reasonable compared to my past experiences. Thick and creamy, without being too sweet. The ideal treat after a 3 hour drive! And everyone enjoyed the shakes. My uncle even drank the whole strawberry shake that we brought him! So thanks Twisty Cone! For making great shakes, and being part of an important memory!

Love this Place. I come from Barefoot Bay just to go there to get wonderful ice cream and see nice people that works there. Wonderful place love it

The ice cream was okay. It's important to remember that they are simply dispensing artificially manufactured soft-serve ice cream-like food. The variety of flavors and toppings were impressive. The building was in a state of I'll repair, as the sidewalk was littered with discarded chewing gum and stained by other debris. It was in dire need of a pressure washing. The trash barrels were overfilled indicative of a lack of attention from the management. The employees were not unfriendly; however, they were less than enthusiastic about their choice of employment. I guess the truly disappointing aspect of this failed attempt at an enjoyable outing were the other erounious reviews posted here about how great this establishment was and how incredible their "ice cream" is. My suggestion to the population of this town, who believe this establishment serves good ice cream, is to try Cold Stone Creamery or Marble Slab Creamery. My suggestion to the owner(s) of this establishment is to simply clean up your facility, motivate your employees and expand your inventory to include actual ice cream.

I love this place. Great soft serve and friendly environment to enjoy your ice cream outside. More bang for your buck that's for sure!

Seriously, anyone who serves a varitey of soft serve ice cream gets 5 stars in my book!

Twisty Cone will always be near and dear to my heart. I've been coming here since it was known as Kristy Cone. The ice cream itself is standard, but the amount of options available, along with the price value, make it tough to pass up. I look forward to visiting Twisty Cone every time I come back to town and visit my family. The Oreo arctic swirl is fantastic!

Too good to be true. Impossible to pass by once I see it.

We love Twisty Cone and are so glad it's right up the road from us. From zebra twist cones, milkshakes, sundaes and even the pumpkin pie, we've tried and loved all kinds of things there. :)

Nothing like soft serve ice cream and this place has been doing it for a long time. Glad to support local small business and they provide great product and cool treats. Wait, is that an infringement on Dairy Queen. :)

Ice cream with Pina Colada flavor burst is a must to try. Great tasting ice cream at very good prices. Whenever I am in the area I always stop by and have me some ice cream. Definitely recommend this place.

During my visit to Palm Bay, my sister kept mentioning we have to stop by and I am sooo glad we did!! The number of ice cream topping options is unheard of!! There is literally something for everyone's palette and curiosity! I was so excited but ended up going with my classic fave! Vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles! As much as the rainbow sprinkles brightened up my experience visually, the real star is the ice cream underneath! It's the right consistency of creaminess and sweetness that you just want to keep eating. Wish I had stopped by earlier so that I could have come again and again before heading out! The hazelnut ice cream with snickers as a topping is out of this world good! Four different iced desserts selections and all for about $8. You can't beat that! Small town favorite for sure, I bet!!

Twisty Cone is the premier destination for amazing soft serve ice cream in the greater Palm Bay area. A lifelong Snickers fan, I just knew I had to try their crushed Snickers candy bar as a topping for my plain Vanilla ice cream cup. And boy I was not disappointed!!! First off, do not be fooled by the negative perceptions of Vanilla ice cream (and yes there are negative perceptions of Vanilla-Google has a bevy of them), this soft serve is chock full of flavor, and the cold treat cools down your mouth in the most extraordinary ways, permanently changing the way you see soft serve. Forever the long-suffering, inferior sibling to hand-made or self-churned ice cream, this soft serve is in a league of its own. And do not get me started on the snickers crumbs! Whoo! I've never tasted anything so divine. I feel like I'm eating a full Snickers bar with each bite. Each scoop is filled with Snickers-goodness, I have no choice but to be fully myself and satisfied afterwards! (Get it? Because of the commercials and the slogan? Anyhoo...) This place is great. Please stop by and treat yourself.
